GUIDE
Offline and install
Adding CurveMora to your home screen, what happens with no connection, and what to expect across several devices.
Adding it to your home screen
CurveMora installs from the browser. Added to a home screen it opens full-screen without an address bar, like an app. There is no store download.
- iPhone and iPad (Safari): Share, then Add to Home Screen
- Android (Chrome): the menu, then Install app or Add to Home screen
- Desktop (Chrome, Edge): the install icon at the right of the address bar
With no connection
Losing the connection shows Offline on screen. Pages you have already opened still work, and repetitions can still be recorded.
A round saved this way is held on the device and says so. The next date is worked out provisionally on the spot, so you are never left without one.
When the connection returns it sends by itself, passes through Syncing, and the provisional date is replaced by the confirmed one. Until then the screen shows how many records are unsynced.
“Showing previously viewed content”
Opening a screen offline that you have not opened before can show this. It means you are looking at the last copy still on the device.
Numbers seen that way may not be current. They refresh on their own once the connection is back.
Using several devices
Signed in, your sources, records and repetition history are the same everywhere — a phone on the commute, a laptop at the desk.
A round recorded while one device was offline appears elsewhere once that device reconnects, and not before.
