GUIDE

Recording (the first round)

Add a source and the part of it you want to repeat. Here are the two ways in, the three metrics you set, and how to check the schedule before anything is saved.

Two ways in

The Capture screen offers manual entry and an AI draft. Either way, what comes out is the same single record.

Manual entry means writing the source and the learning item yourself. There is not much to fill in — a name and scope, and the three metrics.

The AI draft takes a learning note pasted in as it is and builds a draft source and learning item from it. It is available with CurveMora Plus.

AI drafts have a daily limit. When you reach it, or when AI is temporarily unavailable, you can switch to manual entry from the same place. Sending the same input again reuses the previous result for 24 hours without spending the allowance.

01 Source

Name what started the learning. If you have added the source before, pick it from the list instead of typing it again.

There are twelve types: book, textbook, workbook, course, lecture, video, article, paper, skill, project, conversation and other. The type can be changed later from the library.

Tags are optional. They drive the filter in the library and the breakdown in the focus log.

02 Learning item

Write the part of the source you want to repeat. There is no need to copy the content — a name and scope that will tell you later which part you covered is enough.

The scope can be a chapter, section, page range, exercise range, video timestamps, lesson, concept, skill, or something custom. Pick whichever suits the source.

03 Metrics

Three values, and they are what the first schedule is built from.

FieldOptionsWhat it does
ConfidenceHard / Unsure / Okay / Got it / ConfidentThe lower it is, the shorter the first interval.
ImportanceLow / Somewhat low / Medium / High / CriticalHigher importance wins priority on a crowded day.
Time this sessionHours and minutesFeeds the planned time on the agenda and the focus log.

The date defaults to today. For something you studied earlier, set it to the day it happened — the schedule is then built from that day, so time already passed puts the first repetitions further out.

Splitting out a focus item

If part of a learning item deserves its own frequency, split it out as a focus item. It then carries a schedule separate from its parent.

Use it for the one formula that will not stick, or the words that keep slipping. The whole keeps its own rhythm while the difficult part comes back sooner.

Check the schedule before saving

  1. Choose “Save and view next repetition”.
  2. The repetition dates appear, spreading out from today. They are cumulative, so you can read off when each round lands.
  3. If a date falls badly, move it right there.
  4. Choose “Confirm and save”.

After saving you can open the library or go straight on to recording another one.

Record your first one

Before you sign in

While you are using CurveMora without an account, there is a ceiling on what this device holds: 20 sources, 200 records and 1,000 repetitions.

Reaching it never deletes anything. Signing in carries what you have across, lifts the ceiling, and lets you continue from any device in the same state.
